The Lamar room at Hoon Hay have been busy since returning from Christmas break and making the most of the fine days, exploring the community, visiting local parks, walks at Deans Bush, and the Sign of the Kiwi. There has been visits to the Airforce Museum, the Wharenui Harikoa at the Canterbury Museum, and work placement at Trees for Canterbury.

At the centre they have celebrated birthdays, and had fun creating Valentines Day baking and crafts. There has been music, arts and craft, cooking, and trying out the new Rendever Virtual Reality system.
