Tuam Street is a warm and welcoming centre where we encourage the people we support to build independence, confidence, and meaningful connections within their community. We pride ourselves on creating a positive and inclusive environment where everyone is supported to achieve their goals while having fun and trying new experiences.

We have an open-door policy and welcome whānau, friends, and members of the community to come in, visit us, and see what we are all about.

Tuam Street Centre was established in April 2026 to cater to the growing demand for our services in the Canterbury region.

  Having fun with art and crafts
  The new Tuam Street Centre have been having fun exploring the new art supplies they received through funding from the Christchurch Casino Charitable Community Trust recently. The art supplies arrived in time for the centre to celebrate Matariki and get creative with the wooden designs and pictures.
