The Chris Ruth Centre established a new centre in Sockburn to meet the growing needs within the community for our services. On the 4th October, 2021 the doors were opened with the initial people we support joining us from the Hoon Hay Centres and the Bishopdale Centre.

A wonderful High Tea was recently held at the Sockburn Centre, organised by Saskia to celebrate the King’s Birthday. Everyone dressed in their best and looked absolutely amazing! We enjoyed a fantastic afternoon filled with delicious sweet treats, great conversations, and lots of laughter. Paul was awarded best dressed Gentleman.
