The Sockburn Centre have been having fun putting their new portable raised garden bed together, and planting strawberries plants!

The garden bed, cover, potting mix, strawberry plants and tools were purchased with the funding from the Hornby Working Men’s Club. We are sincerely grateful for their support in the Sockburn’s garden project.

The Centre waits in anticipation for the strawberries to ripen and their first pick of their crop!
