Almost 20,000 people made their way to Christchurch’s Malvern Park Friday 24th of January to take part in the Long Run 2025.
Organised by the Crusaders in conjunction with the Heart Foundation, the event raises money for the Child Cancer Foundation by running or walking laps around Malvern and Rugby Parks.
Joining them were Junior, Chevani and Logan who completed laps with the up beat crowd.
They had a great time, with Junior and Chevani in their power chairs and Logan on foot. They enjoyed the great vibe, had snacks and also snagged a photo opportunity with Crusader Taha Kemara, Hunter Morrison (training for the Crusaders), and also All Black, George Bower.
Approximately 14,000 laps were completed overall, almost double from last year.
