The Kaiapoi Chris Ruth Centre had an incredible day at the North Canterbury Inclusive Sports Festival at MainPower Stadium in Rangiora. 

There were lots of opportunities to keep everyone involved, no matter their abilities. There were sports wheelchairs for everyone to try. It was a great chance to experience basketball and even a fun game of pétanque. One of the highlights was the land based rowing set up, just like being out on the water but safely on dry land.

Everything was so well planned out and no one felt left out. It was truly heartwarming to see the people we support with big smiles on their faces, fully engaged enjoying themselves. There was also a delicious BBQ, and a chance to have a few photos with Mayor Dan Gordon.
